Transportation

Senior VanTransportation service is available to residents of Linwood Township for

  • Medical appointments
  • Personal Care
  • Shopping
  • Banking
  • Spousal Visitations in Nursing Homes, Hospitals, etc.

If someone needs a ride to a medical appointment, they should call the Senior Center at 651-462-5565 to request a ride at least 48 hours ahead of time (if possible) so the Coordinator has time to coordinate a driver. We do not give out personal contact info for any of the drivers. Please read our new Transportation Policy.

All medical rides are free.
Non-medical rides such as hair appointments, grocery shopping or any other errands, we charge .75 per mile which is payable to the driver at the end of the ride.

The van is wheelchair accessible.
