Please Be Aware

Anyone wishing to discuss matters at a town board meeting MUST submit a request to be added to the agenda by 12 PM noon, the Thursday before the meeting. You can make a request by calling the town hall at 651-462-2812 or emailing info@linwoodtownship.org.  Any requests made AFTER 12pm on that Thursday, will be added to the following meeting. Meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 6pm. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.



Burning permits are regulated by the MN Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and are issued by Fire Wardens within the township. The Linwood Twp. Fire Department does not issue permits. For information on the status as to whether a permit is required please visit the DNR website or contact a local Fire Warden listed on the Fire Dept. page

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Linwood Township Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the Linwood Town Hall, 22817 Typo Creek Drive, Stacy, MN 55079. The purpose of the meeting is to consider, discuss and possibly take action upon a resolution rescinding authorization for an employment contract with interested officer Andrew Luedtke. Notice is hereby given to the property owners of Linwood Township, Anoka County, MN, that the Annual Town Meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Linwood Town Hall, 22817 Typo Creek Drive NE, Stacy, MN 55079. Only persons attending in person will have the opportunity to vote on the issues. In order to be eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting, you must be a Linwood resident who was eligible to vote in the most recent election. The meeting will be streamed via YouTube. The link for viewing the meeting will be available on the home page at www.linwoodtownship.org website. In case of inclement weather, the meeting may be postponed until March 19, 2024, the third Tuesday in March, at the same location.
