Please Be Aware
Anyone wishing to discuss matters at a town board meeting MUST submit a request to be added to the agenda by 12 PM noon, the Thursday before the meeting. You can make a request by calling the town hall at 651-462-2812 or emailing info@linwoodtownship.org. Any requests made AFTER 12pm on that Thursday, will be added to the following meeting. Meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 6pm. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Burning permits are regulated by the MN Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and are issued by Fire Wardens within the township. The Linwood Twp. Fire Department does not issue permits. For information on the status as to whether a permit is required please visit the DNR website or contact a local Fire Warden listed on the Fire Dept. page

Absentee Ballot Board Meeting Times
Members of the Absentee Ballot Board of Anoka County for the General Election November 5, 2024 serving at the Linwood Town Hall will convene at the following dates/times for the purpose of accepting and rejecting absentee ballots:
Monday through Friday, September 20 – November 1 | Mon-Thurs. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fri 8:00 a.m. to noon |
Saturday, October 26 | 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. |
Tuesday, October 29 | 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. |
Saturday, November 2 | 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. |
Sunday, November 3 | 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. |
Monday, November 4 | 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. |
Tuesday, November 5 | 8:00 a.m. until all ballots are counted following close of polls. |

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Linwood Township Board of Canvass will meet to review and certify election results from the November 5, 2024 election at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Linwood Town Hall, 22817 Typo Creek Drive NE, Stacy, MN 55079.
The Town Board is aware that there are several Facebook pages that appear to be associated with Linwood Township. Please, be advised that the Linwood Township Log, Linwood Senior Center and Linwood Family Fun Day Facebook pages are administered by a private citizen. Linwood Township is not affiliated or responsible, in any way, with these pages.
