Online Permitting
Rum River Consultants is pleased to announce the introduction of online permitting services for Linwood Township through our platform, Baseline.
To access our user-friendly site, simply click the Baseline button below. Once selected, you will be brought to the permitting website where you can choose the option to "Apply for a Permit". A prompt will occur for you to create an account or sign in to the platform.
Once you have established a user account, conveniently track and manage all of your permits, including scheduling inspections online, by selecting the "View Permits" option. *Please note, calendar year 2023 permits have had their data migrated to this site. Thank you!

Permit applications and all submittals are to be provided in PDF format and sent by email to:

Enter all information in the fillable form, including the signature.

Click on permits@rumrivercc.com at the top of the application.

Set Fee Permit Applications
The following permit applications have a set fee and will be processed when received, typically within one business day. This applies to residential permits only. (Commercial permits require plan review.)
Plan Review Permit Applications
The following permit applications require plan review, in addition to the above permits if commercial in nature. Please submit all documentation required when applying for the permit to minimize review time.

Payments
Payments for building permits
can be made by:

Mailing a check payable to Linwood Township. *Please include the address of the project and permit number.

Over the phone with a credit/debit card. Please call 651-462-2812. *Please have permit number and address of project available.

In person at the Linwood Township office between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday or 8:00 am - 12:00 pm on Fridays (excluding holidays).
There is a 3.25% convenience fee added
to credit card transactions.
